Responsibilities & Requirements

At Dog Gone Walking, we select only the best animal lovers to work with us. Because we care for living, breathing animals in their home environment, we seek out honest, caring, reliable animal lovers who have extensive experience caring for companion animals.

Beyond having a deep love for and experience with pets, candidates must live in the area, pass a criminal background check, have a reliable vehicle, and be able to keep up with the demands of this work, including walking dogs, scooping litter boxes, carrying some weight, and more.

Ideal candidates share our philosophy on pets, pet care, and animal welfare. They must be able to self-manage, pay close attention to detail, have a flexible schedule, and be comfortable walking and driving in all weather conditions.

Most importantly, our dog walkers and pet sitters represent our company and should do so with professionalism and integrity. A willingness to learn and master new technology is a plus!
